About Us

Maes-G ShowZone is a volunteer-led community youth performing arts company that emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community. Established in 2020, during the Coronavirus crisis, where children and young people had suffered seclusion, decreasing mental health, and low self-esteem our aim was to bring them together again, to reach for the stars, and grow in a safe and supportive environment.

Our Ethos...

We believe that ALL children, whatever their circumstances should have access to the Performing Arts.

At Maes-G ShowZone we aspire to give every child:

Opportunity - to learn and grow in a safe environment, develop new skills and ideas and to be creative.

Equality - to have the same opportunities as others regardless of their background.

Community - to have a sense of belonging and a safe place to call their own.

All our activities are designed to promote children and young people's well-being, to foster their independence, to increase their life chances and to develop their sense of 'self', so that whatever they do in the future, they will have the confidence and skills necessary to go for it!
